5. Ride-Hailing & Local Taxis

Navigating taxis in Korea is very convenient with smartphone apps, even for international travelers.

 App Name: Kakao T

Features for Foreigners: The most popular local taxi app. It supports English interfaces and allows you to pay the driver directly with cash or international credit cards if you select "General Taxi (Pay to driver)".

 App Name: Uber (UT)

Features for Foreigners: Your global Uber app works seamlessly in Korea as well! It automatically connects you to local UT taxis. No need to download a new app or register a new payment method.

Tip for Travelers:

Dedicated international taxi stands are located directly outside the arrival halls of both airports, and a large taxi rank is situated right outside the main entrances of KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 and 2 for your return trip.
